Backup a Hetzner Cloud Server using Hetzner's backups

Hetzner offers a backup solution similar to what DigitalOcean has, allowing you to schedule weekly backups of your cloud servers by paying 20% of the server price. Each server has 7 slots for backups and when full, the new backups will start replacing the old ones. This means you will be able to retain weekly backups for the past 7 weeks at maximum.

If the backup frequency is enough for you, don't mind having only 7 copies of your backups, and paying a bit more for the backups is ok, then we recommend this solution. Hetzner has a guide on how to enable the backups for a cloud server.
